W story

Baby Woei from England.

Thanks Dr Wang and staffs, I get pregnant under your help in my 1st IVF treatment.

When I undergone the IVF treatment in England for 1.5 years, I felt really upset because there was no follicles retrieved. I came back to Taiwan and felt hopeless before I met Dr Wang.

But Dr Wang said ONE month is enough for whole IVF procedure. At the end, 20 follicles had successfully retrieved.

Thanks for again. Best dream ever. Everything is worth it!

Hello Dr Wang and all the nurses~ We miss you. Thanks for your caring and support. It really helps me go through this amazing journey: First visit in 2019, then injection, examination, egg retrieval, embryo transfer…even went to see a doctor as eating too much in Taiwan. We went back to HK before COVID and did my pregnancy test during quarantine. We received your caring even we went back to HK. Really appreciate for patient-friendly injection. Our baby is 1 year old today. We can’t visit you because of COVID. Hope you like the fruits we sent to you!

Happy new year to Dr. Wang, Dr. Hsieh and W team!

I was really surprise when my German doctor told me it’s twins. So I wrote a letter to your team immediately and asked about the details.

Now my Babies Woei are already 1 year and 3 months old. They have already eaten moon cakes, they love Yakult with water and yogurt with water as well. Elder sister loves dancing, while younger sister loves to be spoiled. Both of them are healthy and happy.

There are a lot of culture differences when raising children in Germany. A German doctor punished us when we brought our babies to body check while they are 10 months old. The doctor asked why they were still eating the baby food and recommended they should join the dinner with us. If we are eating steak/sausages, share to them and let them bite. Children didn’t talk because there are no teeth practicing.

Last September, they went to school while they were 11 months old. There were 12 children with 4 teachers in one class. All teachers are very good. Unfortunately, they rarely enjoyed outdoor activities because of COVID-19 and the temperature was really low. So we decided to buy a slide.

My husband are so proud while looking at these two cutie pies, and said “Dr. Wang really did a good job!”. Why don’t he say his gene is good too?

We wish you all good health and happiness! No more COVID!

Ps. Our entire life is living in a surprise of getting identical twins through IVF treatment.

Dearest Dr. Wang,

I came from Beijing to Taipei and sought for your help in IVF treatment. My baby was born in January 2020. He is really cute. Thank you from my bottom of my heart for the warmth with which you treated me. Share the happiness with you. Wish you all the best and we are looking forward to seeing you again in Taipei.

Dear Dr. Wang & his team:

Hello~I’m XX who come from Hong Kong. I feel so grateful that I could experience the process of getting pregnancy and give birth to a cutie baby girl! It’s pretty a short notice. I apologize and sincerely hope that you can understand.

During IVF process, I kept travelling between Taiwan and Hong Kong. It’s really not easy even if I took a round trip in a day sometimes.

Things end but memories last forever. Dr. Wang gave me the chance for being a mother and this made me getting my hope up for things that I know I never happen before. Having a baby is a life-changer because no role brings greater joy or blessing than being a mother.

Thanks all professional nurses! Thanks for your teaching and caring. Your warm and beautiful heart shines brightly to me.

My daughter was born on 25th of August with a weight of 3kg. This healthy baby is 4 months old. There will be so many times I feel like I’ve failed in breastfeeding, but it’s worth that I could give my best to her. Her name is ChuXin with the attitude of never giving up and forgetting her beginner's spirit.

Thanks again for everyone. Stay healthy under COVID-19!

Dr. Wang & All medical professional

Finally, it’s our turn for birth announcement!

Our Babies Woei “Tai Siu Fook” are 1 year old on 13/11/2020 !

Appreciating Dr. Wang for his professional & patient which help us going through a lot of difficulties. It’s really not easy to get pregnant.

When “Tai Siu Fook” are 33-week-2-day-old, although delivering them through an emergency C-section due to toxemia, so glad that they are healthy babies now!

Feeling sad we can’t come and visit Dr. Wang because of COVID-19.

Looking forward for the day for visiting Dr. Wang!

We borrow the Woei’s uniforms from other family for taking this photo.

Won’t Dr. Wang consider for joining garment industry? This could be a souvenir for commemorate

Wish everyone health and no more COVID-19!

Hi Dr. Wang

I have to apologize for belated announcing the good news to you.

I live in Japan and my first baby is also a baby Woei who gave birth in Changhua Christian Hospital.

My second baby was born on 6/9. The estimated due date of my two babies are the same. Their weight and height when they gave birth are also nearly the same. Is it because they came from the same period of embryos? Younger sister is relatively carefree. She was born until 41 weeks and under doctor's induction.

As my frozen embryos stored in the hospital that Dr. Wang worked before.

So when I planned to have another baby, I found a new doctor but it failed for 2 times.

Finally, I seeked for Dr. Wang’s help again. During the whole IVF process, we always travel between Taiwan and Japan. Could’t believe Dr. Wang accomplished with one shot!

Bleeding, having twins, getting sick and dead of my mum, COVID-19...I decided moving back to Taiwan when my baby was 36-week-old. I really scared that I would deliver in quarantine hotel. Although only one baby remained, I believed she is a lucky baby under these tough situations and she will be brave no matter what happens when she grows up.

Under COVID-19, I don’t know when could I come back to Taiwan and say thankyou to Dr. Wang. Wish you all the best and health.

Photo album covers featuring a super handsome kid.

Dr. Wang is reading with keen pleasure and can't take his eyes off it.

This photo album is a collective work made by Hong Kong Mammy Woei and it becomes a Mid-Autumn Festival tradition.

This year we have Baby Chang as well!

We are deeply touched by your sincerity. Hope to see all Hong Kong Woei's soon.

Thanks for the help and support from Dr. Hsieh & the team of Dr. Wang Reproductive Fertility Center. I give birth to a baby boy on 4 August 2020.

We will come and visit you when COVID-19 ends.

I’m graduated. Past 3 years of infertility is not easy for me to go through. Every month I’m thinking it will be the month I get pregnant, but the period arrives as scheduled and I’m just disappointed.

I started my IVF journey at a very famous Taiwan Hospital via the recommendation from my friend. Spent lots money but retrieved four Day 3 embryos only. There was a lot of misunderstanding during the whole IVF procedure and I failed in egg transferring finally. Feeling very sad and resting for a year, I was struggle whether I should try one more time IVF in Taiwan. At the end, I choose Dr. Wang and it was a great decision. I felt comfortable and confidence to start my 2nd IVF journey here. Dr. Wang was so different from other doctors. He was patient and considerate; he would help us to save money. So I believed I MUST get pregnant every time I met Dr. Wang.

As a woman who is getting old and has low AMH, I retrieved a great amount of embryos in Dr. Wang’s clinic. Although I failed in 1st FET, Dr. Wang kept encouraging me. I still remembered his expression and tone before the surgery. I felt really relax and calm. I cried and hugged my husband when I knew I got pregnant.

Finally, the twin brothers were born. One is 2.645kg and the other one is 2.25kg. So heart touching when I first met my babies.

We really don’t want to delay our trip to visit Dr. Wang but because of COVID-19 and the age of babies. We will bring babies to see one of the most important people when they are 1 – Dr. Wang!!

Dear Doctors & nurses

For my past 4 years of infertility, I went to another Fertility Centre at the beginning. Be determined as immune system disorders, I had an abortion in the end by spending almost TWD 600000 for taking high dose of medicine, PGS, IVIG etc.

Afterward, I decided to go to Dr. Wang Reproductive Fertility Centre and met Dr. Hsieh. I thought I have to spend much on boosting my immune system. On the other hand, Dr. Hsieh said it won’t be better if I take more medicine. I give birth to a daughter on my first embryo transfer.

Thanks all!!

Sadly, babies decide to leave me and had gone on to a better place.
I'm not feeling well and get some bleeding these two days. I will go to hospital and have check-up in Hong Kong later.

Dr. Wang, I believed that you will help us to bring our babies home soon.

I transferred two frozen embryos into my womb on 10/27. It's the 11th day after the embryo transfer. The pregnancy test shows negative. Can I have a blood test to re-check today?

My HCG level is 16.9. Should I stop taking my medication? Today is the 12th day after the embryo transfer.

Dear Dr. Wang,

I hope this email finds you well.
Do you still remember me? Our pretty little girl was born healthy on 23 October. I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. Wang and medical team for all of your support again. I promise I will bring her back one day when she grows up a bit.

Me and my wife, we always have a late start at each stage of life.
We got married when we'd been together for 10 years
We had baby when we'd gotten married for 8 years
We spend almost half of our lifetime from two to three.
It feels like a dream but that dream just came to my real life and became true.
The only regret is that we didn't make this decision earlier.
Anyway, we will cherish every moment of our new life with our little pumpkin and the love of Christ.
# Thanks so much to Dr. Wang and the whole medical team for all your support.
# We always need courage in our life but the most important thing is a partner to accompany you along the path. We and Dr. Wang have the same faith, always think positively and put complete trust and confidence on each other that we can make it together. It turns out, tough times never last, but tough people do.

It was on today last year my husband's birthday, we transfer two embryos which was the most precious present for us. One year after that day, now we are parents to two healthy little babies. Thank you for completing my family from two to four family members. It was everything we'd dreamed of!

Hi Dr. Wang,

I'm your patient living in Guan. I can finally share my happiness and luck with all of you. My health little boy was just born yesterday. He can't even wait to come to this world and celebrate the very first mother's day together with me. Thanks so much to Dr. Wang and the whole medical team for all your support and fulfill our 8-year long cherished wish. The baby is perfectly healthy and we can't wait to bring him to Taiwan to meet Dr. Wang and all the medical members. I am really grateful and want to let you know that we are now planning to have our second baby next year J We look forward to seeing you soon!

I have promised Dr. Wang that if I have my baby girls born healthy, I will write down and share our story of trying for a baby. We're both very grateful to Dr. Wang Reproductive Fertility Center for helping us to share our story, and we hope that, at the very least, this will make anyone who is going through a similar experience feel less hopeless or alone.

Four years ago, I was so lucky to meet Dr. Wang and have my first little sunshine, that year I was 39. I thought we were going to live happily ever after like every fairytale does. But the thing had changed when my little girl turned four. I was diagnosed with cancer.

I cried and cried and cried every day and complained about how unfair it is like every cancer patient usually does. And I am not the only one who suffered from my disease, my husband and my daughter also felt the exact same pain. At that time, I realized that I had to be the one who stronger than anyone else, I underwent tumor removal surgery. The treatment was a tough process and there were so many tears. I always saw my husband secretly cried for what I had been through.

At the time when I was going to have chemotherapy, I was told that it might destroy my ovarian function. I might not able to be a mother anymore. But I don't want a give up. The first thought that came to my mind was making a call to Dr. Wang, I hope I can have my last chance to do the oocyte retrieval and get some healthy eggs. We can't thank the team at the hospitals enough for all they did for us during the tough times, we are forever grateful.

Finally, I had gone through all the medication and therapies. I felt so excited to ask my doctor about the possibility of IVF, unfortunately I still need to wait at least one year to have my IVF treatment. When my body is ready for IVF, I had already turned 41. Sadly, my first round of transfer ended in failure. We were devastated, but thanks to the encouragement from Dr. Wang and the team I decided to go back for our next round as soon as we both felt emotionally ready so as not to lose momentum with the process. Not surprisingly, after chemo there's a sharp decline in my ovarian functions so my second try was ended with failure again. But Dr. Wang never gives up. To be honest, after two failures, we often felt like we've put our lives on hold, and are now in the process of paying off our credit card and its legacy of hope and sadness. Doctor's words gave us a great encouragement and it seemed like we could see the silver lining in the cloud. In our third try, we finally have wonderful news and even find out there's not only one but two little adorable princesses. Dr. Wang said to me:“they're meant to be your children”. I cried again, but this time with happy tears.

Lucky me, four years ago I met Dr. Wang, an angel can turn “IMPOSSIBLE” into“I”M POSSIBLE”. To those couples going through IVF remember you're not alone and that each day that passes you’re another day closer to having your own little one.
